Made For You — YouTube Shorts accelerator

Goal
Equip 5,000 emerging creators across South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria in an eight-week accelerator toward monetisation.
Role
Designed and led the full programme — curriculum, weekly webinars and creator challenges. Built a custom data-tracking tool on the YouTube API with developers, owned recruitment, vetting, communications and community, and led marketing while speaking on the programme.
Outcome
Nearly 900 creators graduated into the YouTube Partner Program. Participants went viral, several passing 100K+ followers and landing their first brand deals, with platform growth across all three regions.

Fluence Africa Influencer Festival

Goal
Showcase African digital creators and position Africa within the global influencer space.
Role
Lead Festival Strategist and Producer — concept, programme, speaker curation, panel themes, run-of-show, marketing and logistics.
Outcome
Delivered a high-profile creator festival with panels that resonated across creators, brands and marketers, drawing strong stakeholder feedback and establishing a foundation for future editions.

YouTube for Filmmakers — Nigeria

Goal
Equip 250 Nigerian filmmakers with YouTube content, distribution and monetisation skills for Africa Month.
Role
Curated the content breakdown and educational material, then travelled to Nigeria in a four-person team as speaker and event co-coordinator, handling on-ground logistics across a three-day programme.
Outcome
250 filmmakers upskilled, strengthening YouTube's ties with Nigeria's film and creative community.

The Jungle Collective

Goal
Build a supportive ecosystem for African creators through training, community and strategic guidance.
Role
Co-founded and leads the creative incubator: designs and facilitates upskilling programmes and workshops, creates educational content and creator resources, runs community and brand partnerships, and leads marketing and platform strategy.
Outcome
A trusted, grassroots creator network that has helped creators gain visibility, secure brand partnerships and access monetisation, established as a go-to resource.

Audio-Visual Content Program

Context
Delivered with the Department of Communications, NEMISA, Google and Special Effects Media, under the theme Elevating African Voices in the Digital Space.
Role
Speaker, host and moderator, covering technical production and behind-the-scenes coordination as creative and strategic lead on tone, flow and delivery.
Outcome
A high-impact creator-education experience that upskilled a diverse creator group and advanced the programme's mission to amplify African creator voices.
